Is Scotchgard Worth it?
Since Scotchgard is a relatively expensive product, it’s not always worth adding it to your steam cleaning service.
For example, if you have carpet or upholstery that is at the end of it’s useful life, you’re better off saving your money for a replacement.
Here are some situations where adding Scotchgard IS worth it:
- Your carpet is stain free, and you want to add a layer of protection in case something happens.
- You have furniture with sentimental value and want to keep it in presentable shape for as long as possible.
- Your family is extra hard on things (your dog lives on the couch and your toddler loves using the couch as a napkin).
How MUch Does It Cost?
Adding Scotchgard stain protection to your appointment is an additional 15%.
For example, if you’re booking $300 worth of carpet/upholstery cleaning, adding Scotchgard is an additional $45.
Please let us know when we arrive that you’d like it added. By default, we have a zero-pressure sales policy so we generally don’t try to “upsell” it.
